Exploring the Influence of the Illumination and Painting Tone of Art Galleries on Visual Comfort

Because of the increase in green lighting recent years, scholars have been trying to find more comfortable methods various fields meet people’s needs. In previous studies, we found that most museum was conducted form subjective questionnaires, but this study, tried introduce a new way explore impact environment on comfort, namely eye tracking technology. This paper aims influences when viewing paintings cold, warm, and middle tones under illumination 50 lx, 150 300 respectively, visual comfort viewers, use fatigue as evaluation index appropriate value for different painting systems art museum. By collecting movement data illuminance color combination from subjects, studies illuminances colors subjects’ fatigue. considering intensity light tone painting, it can be warm suitable cold lx.
